Oats Snack


  • Oats 2 Cups
  • Peanuts (broken) 1 Cups
  • Sesame seeds 1/4 Cups
  • Cashew nuts (broken) 1/4 Cups
  • Grated Coconut 2 Cups
  • Green Cardamom 4-5 Nos
  • Dry Ginger (small piece) 1 Nos
  • Jaggery syrup 4 Cups
  • Ghee 2 Cups
  • Sugar 1 Teaspoons


Grind together green cardamom, dry ginger, sugar and make a fine powder. Keep aside.

Heat a pan and dry roast Sesame seeds, Oats and Peanuts separately till it becomes crisp. Remove and keep aside.

To the same pan add grated coconut and fry for 2-3 minutes on medium flame

Add the melted jaggery and mix well and saut? for few seconds.

Add Oats, Sesame seeds, Peanuts and mix well.

Heat ghee in a pan, add broken cashew nuts fry for few seconds and pour this to Oats mix.

Finally add Cardamom-dry ginger powder and mix well.

Allow the dish to cool down slightly then serve.
